Establishment of Brazilian Office

Brazil, a country with over 190 million inhabitants, is set to become the fifth largest transplant market in the world, has recently overtaken the UK to become the 6th largest economy in the world, and is forecast to rise to 4th largest economy by 2050.

Organ Recovery Systems has set up an office in São Paulo responsible for distribution of the family of Organ Recovery Systems products to Brazil, and other South American markets. The General Manager of our office is Carlos Loureiro, who joined us from Shire Human Genetics Therapies, where he was Commercial Director of the company’s Brazilian subsidiary. Carlos has worked with companies such as AstraZeneca, Baxter, and Genzyme since graduating from UNISA with a degree in Biomedicine in 1986.
