US Clinical Trials

PILOT (Perfusion to Improve Liver Outcomes in Transplantation) was a prospective randomized multi-center oxygenated hypothermic machine perfusion study using the LifePort Liver Transporter (LLT) system with Vasosol® as compared to static cold storage in orthotopic liver transplantation.

PILOT_CA (Perfusion to Improve Liver Outcomes in Transplantation: Continued Access Arm) is a prospective non-randomized multi-center study using the LLT system with Vasosol orthotopic liver transplants.

Both trials are registered with clinical trials.gov (NCT03484455 and NCT05574361).
