Organ Preservation Expertise When You Need It
In response to growing demand from transplant centers and organ procurement organizations (OPO) for comprehensive abdominal organ preservation services, we established our LifePort Preservation Centers in Newark, NJ and Philadelphia, PA.
Our highly trained, specialized staff provides abdominal organ preservation services customized to each transplant center or OPO partner’s needs.
Specific support includes reviewing the organ anatomy, taking photos, cannulating, and placing the organ on a LifePort.* Our experts also monitor and coordinate delivery under the oversight of our Medical Director and experienced consulting surgeons. Additionally, expert financial consultants work with each of our partners to ensure proper financial viability, capture, and reporting of allowable service cost.
