Recyling for a Better Future

Our dedication to innovation doesn’t stop with our LifePort devices and solutions — it also extends to how we reduce our environmental impact. We believe packaging used to protect our products during delivery can be responsibly recycled and have taken steps to help facilitate that for our customers.

We’ve also implemented an internal program focused on recycling the packaging used in the testing and evaluation of our life-saving technologies. By prioritizing sustainability, we are actively reducing waste, conserving resources, and lowering our carbon footprint—without compromising the quality and safety of our products.

Our Recycling Commitment includes:

  • Non-toxic and eco-friendly: Our products are made from non-toxic eco-friendly materials.
  • Eco-friendly packaging materials: We use environmentally friendly materials in our packaging that are recyclable, ensuring our packaging doesn’t contribute to landfills. It’s robust and fully validated per ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) International shipping testing standards
  • Recycled shipping containers: Rather than using polysteryene (think styrofoam coffee cup) our solutions shipping containers, which comprise 40%-60% recycled material, use High Density Polyethylene (think milk jug) for insulation. Corrugated cardboard sleeves encase and protect the solution bags, both of which are completely and easily recyclable.
  • Internal recycling: We work with trusted partners to ensure packaging we receive as part of our testing and evaluation process is properly processed. When packaging materials arrive at our facility, they are sorted and directed into responsible recycling streams.
  • External recycling: We pick up old batteries from clients to be recycled along with decommissioned units wherever possible to ensure we are doing are part to limit e-waste.
