Just over two years ago, I joined Organ Recovery Systems as a Clinical and Technical Advisor in Canada. I previously worked in pharmaceutical sales with a specialization in cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, where I won a President’s Club sales award for my territory. Based out of Ontario, I provide resources for all things LifePort: from training and troubleshooting, to ensuring Canadian OPOs and transplant centers have everything they need for their lifesaving mission. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing clients become excited to use LifePort as part of their transplant programs.
During my time in the organ transplant industry, I’ve enjoyed meeting and interacting with transplant recipients and others involved with organ transplants. I now have a greater understanding and appreciation of the term “gift of life.”
Participating in Gift of Life’s Howie’s House with the ORS team has allowed me to combine my passions for cooking and organ donation. I also enjoy sports, playing plenty of golf and football in my free time.
