Local12—Machine perfusion leading to more organ viability for liver transplants

LifePort Liver Transporter has not been cleared or approved by FDA, and the safety and effectiveness of the LifePort Liver Transporter has not been established. LifePort Liver Transporter is not available for sale within the United States.

Organ Recovery Systems (ORS) is honored to announce that UC Health, a Continued Access site in the PILOT clinical trial has set a record in 2023 for most transplants in the US! We are thankful for our ongoing collaboration with UC Health and their success using LifePort Liver Transporter.

“The last two years, we had the highest transplant rate in the United States,” said Dr. Shah. “Our median waiting time for a liver right now is 15 days. Nationally, it’s close to a year.”
